I’m R. E. Steele, author of the Christian fantasy series, The Temporan Chronicles.
Like many authors, I enjoyed reading as a kid. My favorite books were historical novels, which as a homeschooler, I was encouraged to read. My favorite class was history, but I did well in literature too. As I grew older, I began to develop an interest in the fantasy and science fiction genres. I even tried my hand at writing a few novels. But I never gave much serious thought to becoming an author.
Then I graduated college. After a few years, I felt God calling me to write. So write I did. I published my first book, The Lady of the Hour, in March of 2018, and have continued writing since. Does that mean my books are perfect? No. I fully expected to cringe at some of my prose when I look back in ten years. But I hope to entertain my readers, and give them some encouragement in their walk with God.
I currently live in Idaho with my dog Lily.
