Warning: spoilers for Battle of the Ages below!

Now that we know how scary it would be to cross Excidian, let’s see how dangerous Desideris has become.

Desideris is still a level 9. As someone who has fought in the Second Flame War, he, like many, has improved as both a Temporan and a warrior. He has also become more important politically. He is a significant member of the Defenders Alliance, and is the natural leader of any Nemorians who are discontent with Delitor and the Central Alliance. In fact, many who wouldn’t otherwise, recognize Desideris as their king, because no one else was chosen as Severus’s heir, after Desideris was presumed dead at the Battle of Laeta.

But Desideris still holds a grudge against Delitor, and hasn’t moved on from the tragedy that occurred in Laeta. While he has advanced politically, personally, he has remained nearly stagnate since leaving Laeta. If he were to move on, his threat level would increase. But as it is, he is hampered by his personal feelings, which makes him a less effective leader.
