With Placidia Nerinian’s threat level established, let’s see how dangerous Gelida Nix has become.
Gelida is now a level 8. Like with all Nix, she has worked to improve as both a warrior and Temporan. Despite losing her regency over her niece Bellona, Gelida is still a significant threat. She has a strong network of her own, that has been built up since before she even became regent. She is also still one of the highest-ranking women in Nix by blood. So despite Bellona now being queen in both name and fact, her aunt hasn’t lost much by her ascension. It’s probably a bad sign that Gelida doesn’t seem the least bit concerned with this loss of position.
