With Hestatian’s threat level established, let’s see how dangerous Pactian has become.
Pactian is now a level 7.5. Like his uncle, he has steadily improved over time, though he is still a better diplomat than warrior. In some ways, Pactian holds an advantage over Convienian, in that he is more independent minded than his uncle. While still not in a position to act on his opinion, his time is drawing near. Gelida can’t delay his marriage to Bellona forever, nor can she continue to withhold power from her niece. Pactian is also becoming more important as his uncle is placed at increasing risk. Convienian still doesn’t have any children of his own, so if Convienian should die, Pactian will assume the Nerinian throne.
