Here is my next entry in the Temporan Houses blog series.
Name: House Nemoria
Base of operations: the nation of Nemoria, specifically the capital, Materia. The Nemorians are also highly active in Alveia, the nation of their closest allies.
Color: green
Symbols: the pendulum, like the kind found in grandfather clocks, trees and other plant life
Founder: Bartholomaeus Nemorian
Important members: Severus Nemorian, Justa Nemorian-Alveian, Vitalis Nemorian
Special power: the ability to easily speed up the effects of time on objects or people. The more powerful the Nemorian is, the quicker the effects of this power can be seen, and the more people or objects it can be used on at one time. This talent makes Nemorians excellent farmers. They can also speed up countdown clocks when performing sabotage.
Personality: the Nemorians fall into two groups, those who are schemers, and those who are scholars, though it isn’t uncommon to have individuals who are in both camps. They love learning, which leads them to also love uncovering secrets. They are more logical than emotional, though they are by no means coldhearted.
Strengths: studiousness, the Nemorians are known to be encyclopedia-like in the sheer amount of information they gather. If you want to know about a subject, odds are pretty good a Nemorian can help you. Shrewdness, the Nemorians are among the sneakiest of the Temporans, which makes them excellent strategists in wartime.
Weaknesses: manipulativeness, already being inclined to slyness, the Nemorians do sometimes have a trouble with being forthright. Laziness, thanks to their cunning, Nemoria has become a highly prosperous kingdom, leading some later Nemorians to become indolent in their wealth. Greed, already possessing much, some Nemorians wish to obtain more than is good for them.
Occupations: farmer, teacher, spy, scientist, and advisor.
Hobbies: gardening, reading, hunting, and performing experiments.
So that is House Nemoria. Can you think of any information I missed? Comment about it below.
