As I have mentioned before, the Fantastic General Store sells shoes. But a problem that keeps cropping up more and more often, is mismatched shoes appearing in the stores. Sometimes it’s two shoes of different sizes in the same box. Other times, it’s two left shoes or two right shoes in the box. Sometimes it’s just one shoe with its mate seemingly disappearing into thin air. Considering our clientele, that is possible too. Fairy folk like their pranks. I think part of the problem for the increase in mismatched shoes is we have self-checkout now. Employees can be taught to check the shoes before selling them, but customers don’t always think to check. So, if you buy shoes through self-checkout, make sure to check you have both shoes, that they are the same size, and that you have a left shoes and a right shoe. You have better things to do than wait for our registers to process your return.
