At the Fantastic General Store, the price of some merchandise confuses customers. I can understand why. When two similar looking ball gowns have a significant price difference between them, most people would question if the prices are legit. There can be a couple of reasons why there is such a significant difference in cost. One reason could be what the product is made of. Cotton and wool are going to be a lot cheaper than silk and velvet. A second reason could be the company ball gown came from. Yes, you may be paying for the name brand. A third reason is when the product came in. If it’s last year’s suit of armor, it may be cheaper because the store is wishing to get rid of it, even if this year’s product is almost identical. But there are cases where even we employees have no idea why Snow White’s sleep tonic is so much more expensive than Sleeping Beauty’s sleep tonic. Sometimes corporate screws up.
