At the Fantastic General Store, employees can feel stressed. Sometimes there are a lot of tasks that need to be done, and not a lot of time to do them. Sometimes customers aren’t as polite as they should be. We have villain clientele after all, but sometimes even the so-called heroic customers get snappy with us. Sometimes you don’t get along with your coworkers for one reason or another. Regardless of the reason, working in a retail setting can be stressful. But sometimes people take out their stress on other people, which makes the situation worse. This is particularly bad when management starts taking their stress out on employees, as this makes the situation worse, and encourages employees to quit. So, when in a stressful environment, keep in mind that others are probably under the same stress, and treating them badly may cause the situation to become worse.
