At the Fantastic General Store, we have a lot of merchandise, some of which has similar packaging compared to other merchandise. When it’s all displayed together, sometimes customers struggle to find what they are looking for. When it comes down to it, there isn’t much difference in the packaging of Snow White’s apple sleep aids and Sleeping Beauty’s spindle sleeping aids. They do business through the same company after all. Other times, there are so many different items in one place, I think the customers’ senses get overwhelmed. For example, how can you find Jack’s beans, when his candle sticks, pies, water buckets, and giant deterrent are all in the same location. I don’t mind showing customers where the item they want is, but it does get me thinking, maybe I need to rework the displays, so the most commonly sought items are easier to find.
