Now that we have been introduced to the two main characters from The Lady of the Hour, I will describe to you one of the nation’s that serves as the setting in the story.
Oreias is a nation of fertile mountains. Its soil is rocker than its neighbors, which makes growing food harder. But the kingdom is able to harvest enough to sustain itself. It makes most of its money through mining valuable metals and minerals, an advantage its neighbors don’t share.
Oreias’s national color is blue, and its national symbol is the mountain. It had a close alliance with fellow kingdom Achlys, but since the Kalarian Empire conquered Achlys, that alliance no longer officially exists. But the Oreiasans still help the Achlysians when they can.
