To continue to promote the release of The Healing Empress, on July 1st, I’m doing another character blog post, this time on Emperor Nikolos of Kalare.
Nikolos is the only child of the now deceased Emperor Agrios of Kalare, and Agrios’s wife, Egeria. Known for his stern ruthlessness, Nikolos is surprisingly compassionate and loyal, as shown by the fact he hasn’t abandoned his friend and spy, Lord Damianos, in spite of Damianos’s repeated failures. But Nikolos hides his compassion as it was considered a weakness by his parents. Still, he is loved by the Kalarian commoners of his empire.
Nikolos is quite tall, even for a Kalarian. He has dark hair and eyes, which is also consistent with his Kalarian heritage. He has been described as handsome, though his habitual stern expression, takes something away from his good looks.
