Something I have noticed at the Fantastic General Store, is employee retention is majorly affected by one factor. Yes, people have varying needs for hours and pay. But choosing to stay is another matter. The factor I’m referring to is how employees are treated. Treat them right, and they are more likely to stay. There is a reason we don’t hear much about people like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty losing staff. Treat employees badly, and they will get out of dodge as quick as they can. A lot of villains get ganged up on by their henchmen when the opportunity arises, if said henchmen don’t just abandon their overlords when they get the chance. So, treat your employees right. It can be expensive if you don’t.
