If you are hardworking and fair to your employees, odds are high they too will be hardworking and treat you fair. If you are lazy and catty, odds are good they will be lazy and catty too. It’s one thing to show these villainous traits, it’s another to expect your employees to be model associates when you don’t set the example yourself. So managers, act like a hero to your employees, or they will turn into the villains who work against you.
