At the Fantastic General Store, kids come in to shop. Sometimes they are with their parents. Sometimes they are not. I’m fine with the kids shopping on their own, so long as they are old enough and well behaved. But kids who are not well behaved, shouldn’t be in a store at all. Yes, Goldilocks parents, I’m looking at you. If she is willing to break into the house of anthropomorphic bears, she shouldn’t be in a store unsupervised. If kids are stealing stuff, they should be kicked out. If they are making a mess, they should be kicked out. If they are causing a ruckus, they should be kicked out. If they are crying and screaming because they are too young to know better, and especially if they are old enough to know better, they should be removed from the premises. We employees are stuck at the store because we have to do our jobs. Screaming kids on the other hand have the option of being taken out of the building.
