At the Fantastic General Store, we sometimes get lazy employees. I understand not wanting to work. We probably wouldn’t get paid if the job was fun. No one wants to clean the castle garderobe or pick up after the pet dragon. But management needs to get after lazy employees, as the good employees eventually figure out what is going on, and leave if the laziness is tolerated for too long. It’s even worse when managers are the lazy workers, as they have the authority to pass on their work to their subordinates, and burn them out. Not every employee is going to tolerate having work piled on them like Cinderella and Snow White. So, keep an eye out for lazy workers. Your success depends on it.
