At the Fantastic General Store, sometimes products are rearranged. Sometimes product is moved from one location another, like changing an endcap with the seasons. Summer in a fairytale village sells very different products than wintertime in that same village. Other times entire departments change locations within the store, like when there is a remodel. These changes can come from higher up in corporate. Other times they are dictated by local management or the employees themselves. If the snow queen’s powers are going awol because she caught another cold, moving the ice melt and snow shovels to the front of the store is a good idea. Sometimes these rearranges don’t seem to make logical sense. Perhaps they do in some stores, but in others, because each building has its own quirks, the changes don’t. Sometimes local workers notice how rearranging could make the shopping experience better, and act on it. My point, rearranging can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on why it’s being done, and the results.
