At the Fantastic General Store, we get visits from corporate. These visits occur on a regular basis, though I’m sure if we got ourselves in enough trouble, we would receive an unscheduled visit. But these visits need to have a point in order to justify the cost of flying or driving a head honcho out to each store. Flying carpets and teleportation aren’t cheap, nor is riding in a pumpkin coach. If the visiting manager doesn’t offer any useful advice on improving sales or retaining employees, then what is the point? If the visiting manager is only there to nitpick, what is the point? The visiting manager also needs to have a thorough knowledge of how each facility operates, or they may give out the wrong instructions. My point, make sure these visits are actually worth the cost and trouble.
